Mandatory challenger Jonas Sultan refuses to give away his strategy against world junior bantamweight champion Jerwin Ancajas.
All he can guarantee is that it will be a tight battle.
"Close fight ang nakikita ko sa laban namin,” Sultan, who is currently training at coach Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, said in a Philboxing.com article.
Their bout is scheduled in Fresno, Calif., on May 26.
When pressed if the fight will be short, Sultan said: "Sa knockout siguro tsambahan na lang kami.”
“Hindi ko ma-predict, pero paunahan na lang kami.”
Sultan earned the mandatory status following a 12-round decision against former 2-time world champion John Riel Casimero in their title eliminator in Cebu City in September.
The Ancajas-Sutlan is the first all-Filipino title bout in 93 years.
