Isabela Vinzon completed Bamboo’s three picks for the live shows of “The Voice Teens” by performing an impeccable rendition of an R&B classic from the 1960s.
On Saturday’s episode, Vinzon, daughter of actor Roi, won the Rivermaya frontman’s vote by performing Etta James’ “Something’s Got a Hold on Me.”
Vinzon emerged on top, beating Bea Muñoz, who performed “All I Ask of You” from the “Phantom of the Opera” original soundtrack, and Patricia Bonilla, who sang “Climb Every Mountain” from “The Sound of Music” OST.
Other members of Kamp Kawayan who are advancing to the live shows are Queenie Ugdiman and Emharjun de Guzman.
Hosted by Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga, “The Voice Teens” airs Saturdays after “Home Sweetie Home” and Sundays after “Goin’ Bulilit.”
